Draught-free System Finalist for Top Industry Awards

The draught-free, HE-Z series, Hi-Velocity system from The Ingenious Air Company is a finalist in two categories at this year's RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2015.

The draught-free, HE-Z series, Hi-Velocity system from The Ingenious Air Company is a finalist in two categories at this year's RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2015; Air Conditioning Product of the Year and the Industrial Project of the Year. The accolades show how the Hi-Velocity system is turning heads in the industry as its popularity grows.

With draught-free cooling and heating, excellent indoor air quality and green technology driving end user demand, the system's ease of design and installation has influenced both specifier and installer preference. The key benefits for end users, designer and installers includes; even temperature cooling and heating, clean indoor air environment thanks to high specification air purification, fresh air ventilation, de-humidification and de-stratification all in the same modular system, with end users able to choose any combination of services for their own needs. Delivered via multiple, small, discreet air outlets, the system provides the above services without the need for radiators or large air conditioning grilles.

Renowned for its unique, draught-free air movement pattern which produces even temperatures from floor to ceiling and wall to wall, without hot and cold spots, the Hi-Velocity system holds a worthy place in the Air Conditioning Product of the Year category. It's ability to utilise all know sustainable technologies as an energy source, along with its highly discreet air outlets and simplicity of design and installation are contributing factors to its finalist status.

The Industrial Project of the Year category features no less than 26 Hi-Velocity systems paired with the HEPS Purification module and 20kW DX inverter heat pumps in a system designed and installed by Celtic Cooling and Heating Ltd. Installed to provide energy efficient heating, cooling and NASA specification air purification over 2,500m2 of open plan office space, meeting rooms, light manufacturing areas, a canteen and atrium reception area, the project at the new Cardiff headquarters of innovative furniture manufacturer Orangebox Ltd, has ticked all the boxes when it comes to providing the perfect indoor environment for keeping staff happy, healthy and productive.

Director of The Ingenious Air Company, Joe Flanagan, commented "It is great that our small duct systems have been recognised by such a prestigious organisation. Draughts have become such a blight on our industry and this recognition will provide designers with the backing they need to be able to design/install draught-free systems for their clients." The award ceremony will take place on 23rd September at the Hilton, Park Lane, London.
