ANC Acoustic Awards Shortlist
UK trade body, the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC), has unveiled the shortlist for its acclaimed Acoustic Awards programme.
ANC members provide noise and sound insulation and vibration consulting services to organisations operating within the built environment, transport and entertainment sectors, and thereby support the wellbeing and comfort of users of public, private and commercial buildings.
The 2017 Awards will recognise and celebrate excellent outcomes in 15 projects and group shortlisted companies under five, separate categories:
- 'Architectural Acoustics: Commercial Buildings' which is being sponsored by H & H Acoustic Technologies;
- 'Architectural Acoustics: Education Buildings' which is being sponsored by Ecophon;
- 'Environmental Noise' which is being sponsored by ANV Measurement Systems;
- 'Smaller Projects' which is being sponsored by Brüel & Kjær; and
- 'Vibration' which is being sponsored by Pliteq.
Winners will be chosen by a distinguished panel of judges comprising of academics and industry professionals (including representatives of sponsoring companies).

The ANC Acoustic Awards ceremony will take place at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Birmingham on June 21.
