Incentive FM in Retail TFM Contract Award

Incentive FM has been awarded a three-year contract to provide a total facilities management (TFM) solution at three shopping centres managed by Montagu Evans in Shrewsbury.

The deal is worth more than £3 million over the lifetime of the agreement, and builds on the existing relationship between the two companies, as Incentive FM is already responsible for services at St Nicholas Shopping Centre in Sutton, and Friars Square in Aylesbury.

The Charles Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside Shopping Centres occupy adjacent sites in Shrewsbury and have a large range of high street shops and restaurants.

Under the terms of the contract, Incentive FM will self-deliver all security, cleaning, and mechanical, electrical and building fabric (MEBF) services, operating over a seven days week.

A team of 38 existing staff will transfer under the UK's Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) [TUPE] regulations from two companies that previously delivered the contract, and receive additional support and on-going training.

John Prestwich of Montagu Evans, said:

"Incentive FM have proven that they can successfully manage services at high footfall retail locations across the U.K and deliver a secure, clean and safe environment with a clear focus on delivering high levels of customer services. The company's culture and passion for its people echoes our own and so they are a great partner for us."

Glenn Wilson, operations director at Incentive FM, said:

"Our expertise and ability to self-deliver a full range of services enables us to provide an efficient, flexible and transparent solution that is easily managed. When this is combined with our close and open relationship with Montagu Evans, the result is a service that is great for the client, the retailer, their staff and their customers."
