Axil Integrated Services' work with global engine and generator manufacturer Cummins has been recognised with a shortlist place in this year's MRW National Recycling Awards.
Axil currently manages waste streams at multiple Cummins sites including locations in Darlington and Stamford under a three-year contract which was renewed earlier in 2020.
In addition to helping the engine manufacturer sustain the 'Zero to Landfill' status it achieved in 2013, Axil has achieved sustainable savings by enhancing waste segregation and reducing the use of manual labour by an estimated 4,000 hours.
