Cushman & Wakefield Represents Made Goods in Lease Expansion
Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated a lease for Ardmore Home Design, Inc., subsidiary, Made Good, on a 282,000 SF Headquarters and warehousing facility in Industry, Greater Los Angeles, California.
The new facility is located at 918 S Stimson Avenue and will serve as the wholesale furniture brand’s new corporate headquarters together with its warehousing and distribution operation.
Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director, Ty Newland, represented the tenant in the transaction.
Relocating but retaining its operation within City of Industry, Made Goods’ new multi-functional facility will more than double the size of its preceding 128,800 SF location on Turnbull Canyon Road.
Owned by LBA Logistics, the company’s new facility recently completed interior and exterior renovations, and features approximately 20,000 sf of total office space, LED warehouse lighting, ample loading positions, high clear heights, and large secured yard/parking.
Chris DeWitt, Co-founder and CEO of Made Goods, comments: "We are grateful to be able to expand Ardmore Home Design during this time.
The new space will allow us to be more creative and offer quicker response time to our clients."
"Made Goods’ lease expansion exemplifies the resilience of the industrial sector in Southern California, while also reflecting the recent trend of consumers buying home goods and furniture as they reinvest in their homes during this pandemic, " adds Newland.
"Another driver for the uptick in demand we’re seeing by furniture companies is the trend of people moving into larger suburban homes that need to be furnished."
Co-founded by Chris DeWitt and Oscar Yague, Made Goods is a wholesale brand focused on creating special statement pieces for designers and boutiques.
The company designs its own pieces that are distinguished by the use of unusual materials, unexpected proportions and thoughtful design.
