BDBOS Extends IFM Contract
The Bundesanstalt für den Digitalfunk der Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BDBOS) - Germany's Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio, has extended an IFM contract with STRABAG PFS by a further 3 years.
The contract which relates to the provision of maintenance and servicing of all technical installations, and network administration centres and exchanges, covers 65 locations in Germany where services are delivered predominantly by on-site staff.
STRABAG PFS is also responsible for cleaning services, maintenance of outdoor facilities and winter services.
Commenting on the announcement, Dirk Brandt, STRABAG PFS managing director, said: "We provide BDBOS with services in our highly-specialised area of expertise and are delighted with the trust that has been placed in us.
"Extending the contract allows us to further expand our market leadership in telecom, radio and broadcast technology.
BDBOS first commissioned the company to provide hard services at its network locations in 2015.
