Gloucester Rugby Club has appointed Venture Security as its official provider of matchday and event security services.
Venture will deliver security, stewarding and crowd management services for the Kingsholm Stadium - the club's iconic home, supporting matchdays and wider events held on site throughout the year.
This includes managing entry control, crowd flow, guest assistance and incident response, with up to 40 team members in action for larger events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process and sees Venture further expand its presence across sporting, leisure and hospitality venues, where the company’s award-winning services are already trusted by high-profile names including Newbury Racecourse, Salisbury Racecourse, Stonehenge and The Roman Baths.

Kingsholm Stadium, affectionately known as “Castle Grim”, is one of the most iconic rugby venues in England, boasting a crowd capacity of more than 16,000 and welcoming an estimated 250,000 visitors annually.
