Hosted in two phases at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou from 18-21 March and 28-31 March 2026, the exhibition spanned approximately 850,000 square metres across 90 halls and brought together more than 5,100 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions.

Platform development and exhibitor mix
CIFF Guangzhou continues to expand beyond a conventional trade fair format, positioning itself as a platform that brings together design, manufacturing and commercial exchange. The 2026 edition included 1,582 new exhibitors, representing 31.8% of total participation, reflecting both market turnover and the event's ability to attract new entrants alongside established brands.
This mix of participants contributed to a broad representation of the furniture value chain, from finished products through to materials, components and production technologies.
Sector themes and market signals
The 2026 programme placed emphasis on lifestyle-driven product development and changing consumer requirements. Within the Home Furniture exhibition, thematic areas focused on ageing populations, pet-related products, functional seating and evolving retail concepts.
Dedicated showcases explored senior-oriented living solutions and the integration of assistive technologies, alongside the continued growth of the pet-related segment. These areas reflect longer-term demographic and behavioural shifts influencing product design and residential environments.
In parallel, the CIFM/interzum guangzhou exhibition introduced new product launches and technology showcases, highlighting ongoing development within manufacturing equipment and materials.
Integrated supply chain platform
CIFF Guangzhou 2026 combined three principal exhibitions - Home Furniture, Office & Commercial Space, and CIFM/interzum guangzhou - presenting a consolidated view of the industry. Together, these segments covered design, finished furniture, workplace and hospitality interiors, as well as upstream manufacturing and supply systems.
This integrated structure continues to differentiate the event, enabling connections between design-led innovation and industrial production within a single venue.
Design and innovation
Design remained a central component of the exhibition. A total of 227 design brands participated, representing year-on-year growth, while dedicated design halls and thematic exhibitions explored areas including sustainability, emerging technologies and evolving lifestyle concepts.
Associated awards programmes and curated exhibitions provided additional visibility for design-led approaches and their relationship to commercial development.
Connectivity and industry engagement
CIFF Guangzhou also extended its international engagement through a combination of overseas promotion, digital outreach and on-site networking initiatives. Programmes aimed at designers, buyers and industry professionals supported business matching and collaboration, while digital tools were deployed to enhance navigation and interaction across the exhibition.
Outlook
