Compass Group UK & Ireland has appointed Morag Freathy as Managing Director for Business & Industry (B&I).
Freathy, who was previously the managing director of the group's Eurest defence and government services catering subsidiary, has also held senior positions at The Prezzo Group, Pizza Hut and Whitbread Restaurants’.
Announcing the appointment, Chris Garside, Compass managing director, said:

Workplace catering is changing at a rapid pace and Morag’s consumer experience and focus will help us to consistently deliver what our customers want – great tasting food at reasonable prices, with the very best service."
Freathy added:

Now more than ever, our offer needs to be able to compete with the high street as we see our consumers moving away from the traditional hot lunch and enjoying a grab and go option, often from outside the building.
