MeteoViva Climate Becomes Qualifying Service for German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) Certification

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is now recognising installations of the MeteoViva Climate smart building and energy management platform as qualifying for silver certification under its "Building in Operation" scheme.

In 2021, the platform became the first to be recognised as a service by DGNB.

Following the most recent announcement, owners and operators of buildings with installations of MeteoViva Climate are guaranteed 50.8 per cent of the available points should they apply for formal certification which confers a silver award.

Depending on the machinery in a building and whether it meets  agreed sustainability criteria, compliance of the Meteoviva platform with DGNB criteria can be adjudged to warrant the addition of up to 24.2 percentage points which confers gold level certification.

Ongoing operational optimization based on a digital twin unlocks the physically possible energy savings potential in a building's system operation.

The MeteoViva Cockpit also provides a comprehensive real-time data analysis and a simple tool when it comes to documenting progress in their sustainability strategy.

Beyond indoor climate quality and energy efficiency, MeteoViva Climate enables the identification and evaluation of optimization measures for water consumption, waste management and property operating costs.
