Polyteck has secured a 36-month housing voids and repair contract under a new £250,000 framework agreement with the charity Centrepoint which provides accommodation and support to homeless people aged 16–25 in London, Manchester, Yorkshire and the North East of England.
Under the terms of the agreement, the construction and facility services provider will assume responsibility for general building-related void repairs across the charity's housing stock, including electrical, groundworks, plumbing and general maintenance.
The new contract, starting this month, follows several long-term maintenance contract wins for Polyteck in the housing and residential sector.
Centrepoint cited Polyteck's extensive experience in working with local authorities, and its commitment to supporting the charity’s focus on delivering social, environmental and economic value from all activities as reasons for awarding the contract.
Previous clients have included Kent County Council and Slough Borough Council, and Polyteck was recently selected as one of three contractors to deliver 24-hour emergency and routine repairs for Islington and Brent Council.
