Elevate Announces New UK Appointments
Elevate (formerly Firestone Building Products) has bolstered its UK team with the appointment of Jonathan Keyes and Anthony Dyer as specification managers.
The duo will be responsible for advising architects and other specifiers on the company's EPDM roofing systems for the commercial market, including RubberGard EPDM.
There is huge potential to grow the Elevate brand in the commercial market.
I’m looking forward to working with architects as well as end-users to inform them of our proven EPDM systems, ensuring specifications result in high quality roofs.”
Also bringing more than 15 years' industry experience to his new role, Dyer has a forged a career in specification and sales across multiple building products, including facades, insulation and sheathing boards.
He says: “This role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of large, global organisation with a leading reputation in roofing.
My knowledge of building products, including many used in roofing solutions, will be key to building strong relationships with architects and helping them to create large and successful commercial projects.”
Philip Moors, managing director of Elevate UK and Ireland, adds: “These appointments are part of longer-term aim to build a specification team.
“We are developing new products for our commercial customers and can offer complete roofing solutions, including the RubberGard EPDM membrane, Resista MG PIR insulation, vapour control layers and cover boards.
A key part of Anthony and Jonathan’s role will be to advise specifiers on the technical benefits of these solutions while also supporting our distributors and commercial roofing partners.”
The commercial market offers a significant opportunity for us to grow our UK business, replicating the success we have achieved in the residential sector in recent years.
Launched in 1980, RubberGard EPDM is a durable waterproofing membrane with a life expectancy of more than 50 years. Since that time, it has been specified and installed on a vast range of industrial and commercial buildings in the UK, including factories operated by the likes of Honda, Motorola and McLaren. According to the company, the product is easy to apply, and has a low environmental impact whilst requiring little or no maintenance.
