Kramer Strengthens AVoIP Market Focus in the DACH Region

Global AV over IP (AVoIP) solutions provider Kramer Electronics has appointed Marco Widmann as its new Area Sales Manager for Central Germany and the DACH market.

Widmann who brings substantial AV/IT expertise to the team will report to Gerrit Lipgens, who recently became Country Manager for Germany.

Widmann's new responsibilities encompass building and solidifying partnerships, identifying sales prospects across various sectors, generating leads, and promoting Kramer's range of AVoIP solutions.

According to industry forecasts, the global AV-over-IP market size is projected to expand from US $4,782.49 million in 2022 to US $76,850.48 million by 2028, suggesting considerable potential for Kramer and its partners.

The company services multiple sectors including corporate environments and educational institutions, providing audio and video signal capture, management, and distribution over IP networks.

In October, Kramer will launch KDS-100, a scalable 4K60 AVoIP streaming solution based on open standards.

Widmann expressed enthusiasm for his role at Kramer and the opportunities it brings in the DACH market.
