Sodexo Deploys AI-Powered Self-Checkout Kiosks at DKR - Texas Memorial Stadium

Sodexo has deployed 14 Mashgin self-checkout kiosks at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, the home of The University of Texas Longhorns.

The new point-of-sale, touchless self-checkout kiosks have already sped up concession checkouts at six locations across the stadium, helping college football fans get back to enjoying the action on the field quicker.

Sodexo plans to add 22 more Mashgin self-checkout kiosks for the upcoming 2023 football season.

“Texas Longhorn fans are extremely dedicated to their team, and as an organization, we are always looking for ways to make their gameday experience even better,” says Chris Reynolds, District Manager for Sodexo at UT Austin. “Speeding up concession lines ensures that our fans can spend more quality time watching the game and less time waiting in line.

The compact design of Mashgin’s machines allowed us to not only upgrade existing concession stands, but easily add two new grab-and-go locations.”
