Aramark has appointed Jim Tarangelo to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer.
Tarangelo succeeds Chief Financial Officer, Tom Ondrof, who will formally retire on 12th January 2024 whilst remaining in a strategic advisory role.
Tarangelo, a 20-year Aramark veteran, currently leads the group's global treasury and capital markets operations, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions and tax.
His career has included spells in finance and international finance - overseeing corporate treasury and accounting functions in South America and other emerging markets, and as the CFO of Aramark International.
Before joining Aramark, Tarangelo was at PricewaterhouseCoopers and at the investment banking division of Legg Mason.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lafayette College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
