The City of London Corporation has extended its contract with ISS for the provision of security and front of house services by five years with an option to extend by up to a four further years.
As the local authority for the City of London, the historic centre of London, the corporation takes responsibility for supporting the financial services industry and representing the interests of the 'Square Mile' where much of it is headquartered.
The five-year contract is worth around £5 million annually and further extends a two-year extension announced in 2022.
It will continue the partnership between the local authority and the facility services provider until at least 2029.
Since 2018, ISS has provided essential security services for workplaces across the Corporation’s estate, including iconic buildings like the Barbican, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Mansion House.
ISS also provides integrated facilities management services to City of London Private Schools.
The new contract allows us to build on such a strong foundation and further deliver for the people who interface with the corporation, be they its members, employees or the general public who visit the Square Mile.
