meteoviva Appoints Managing Director

Eric Giese has taken over as the managing director of pioneering building energy management solutions provider meteoviva GmbH.

Giese succeeds Uwe Großmann, and will oversee sales, project planning and services delivery whilst driving future growth.

The 55-year-old is no stranger to the smart building industry where he has developed a strong network of key contacts.

Giese has extensive experience in digital building technology, having held senior positions at companies such as SPIE, Drees & Sommer, and Siemens.

In these roles, he played a pivotal part in the development of IoT services and digital business models based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Most recently, he was responsible for the go-to-market strategy of Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the German real estate market.

He tells FM Magazine: “I am excited to work with such a highly motivated team to further strengthen meteoviva’s position in the market for predictive building and energy control,” says Giese.

His goal is to sustain the company’s dynamic growth momentum in the coming years.
