Lauren Suddards from On Verve's guest services team at 3 Hardman Square in Manchester has been named 'Receptionist of the Year' at the Corporate Receptionist of the Year (CROTY) Awards.
Suddards emerged victorious from the shortlist of 12 thanks to her ability to blend professionalism with personality.
From putting nervous visitors at ease with reassuring gestures, to driving community spirit through charity events, her approach is a masterclass in how to keep the workplace human.
The judges had plenty warm words for Suddards, including “You’re a pro – born to make a difference to the lives of the people who have the fortune to cross your path” and “What a wonderful ambassador for the guest services sector you will be.”

Suddards began her customer service journey as a teenager and has worked across salons, cafés and restaurants.
Now a rising star in the corporate world, she is also undertaking a Level 3 IWFM facilities management apprenticeship to continue building her career in the built environment.
