Lewisham Council to Deliver Faster Repairs and Safer Homes
Lewisham Council in South London has taken another step towards enhancing housing services by partnering with Totalmobile to modernise how repairs are managed and delivered across the borough.
Totalmobile's Field First platform has now gone live across the local authority's repairs service, giving teams real-time visibility into repairs, improved data insights, and better communication with residents.
The new software will also help the Council meet its ongoing commitments related to damp and mould prevention, Awaab's Law, and the Decent Homes Standard, making homes safer and offering a more reliable service to residents.
Working with Totalmobile means we now have the technology and expertise to support that change and will help us deliver a higher-quality, compliant and more responsive service for our residents."
Through the platform, field operatives will now have immediate access to job details, safety information and reporting tools on location.
Improving the housing repair service is one of the highest priorities for the council.
Managers will also be able to monitor progress in real time, ensuring that urgent repairs and compliance-related work are completed quickly and to the required standard.
It will also support its future ambitions to use advanced data to plan preventative maintenance and further improve housing conditions across the area.
Chris Hornung, Managing Director of Public Sector at Totalmobile, adds: "Lewisham Council is taking a proactive approach to improving housing standards and delivering real value for residents.
Our innovative Field First platform will give their teams the insight, flexibility and control they need to keep homes safe and well-maintained."
