Ecolab has announced a new initiative to assist local businesses in Minnesota facing economic pressures.
The program is designed to provide practical support to customers across the Twin Cities and surrounding communities, helping to maintain operations, safeguard employment and strengthen local economic resilience.

The company emphasises the importance of partnerships with local businesses and organisations, recognising the role of employees, owners and operators in sustaining community vitality.

Current economic conditions have created challenges for many local businesses, affecting operations and staffing. Ecolab's program offers products, flexible commercial options and enhanced support tailored to individual customer needs. Teams work closely with businesses to assess requirements and provide practical solutions.
Launching the program, Greg Cook, Executive Vice President and President of Ecolab's Institutional Group, said: "Ecolab's objective is to help businesses maintain safe operations, support their employees and continue serving their communities. Angie Whitcomb, President and CEO of Hospitality Minnesota, added: "Our members are navigating extreme challenges, with many uncertain if they can keep their doors open. Partners who engage directly and provide support are crucial. Community engagement, such as patronage of local restaurants, also plays an important role."
Ecolab has also contributed to the Economic Response Fund, established with 32 other companies and the Minneapolis Foundation. The fund launched with over US $4 million to provide support for small businesses across Minnesota, complementing Ecolab's direct assistance to its customers.
