Churchill Group has been re-awarded a Bronze EcoVadis Medal with an improved score that places it in the 71st percentile of the more than 150,000 companies which have been assessed by the independent provider of sustainability ratings.
The soft services provider's environmental performance was a particular highlight, with full marks for both certifications and coverage - reflecting the breadth of its ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 accreditations across its operations. It also achieved particularly strong improvements across labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Churchill has also validated near-term science-based targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50.4% by FY2032, aligned with the 1.5C pathway.
The increasingly advancing sustainability landscape across the wider combined facilities services support activities sector makes being awarded, or retaining, an EcoVadis medal more challenging each year, and Churchill Group remains committed to maintaining its momentum.
