United Engineering Construction (UNEC) awarded Nakheel contract for 90 villas.
United Engineering Construction (UNEC) has won the AED 106 million contract to build 90 homes in Nakheel's Jumeirah Village Circle project.
First advertised in March, the tender also covers infrastructure and road works associated with the villas.
With mobilisation expected to begin at the end of May, both companies are forecasting a 2014 completion date.
The 90, four-bedroom villas have already been sold off-plan for a combined total value of AED 275 million and will be built in a circular pattern on a landscaped area within Nakheel's 568 hectare (1403 acre) master developed Jumeirah Village Circle community.
Each villa will have a total floor area of 3,655 square feet and feature outdoor living spaces and roof terraces.
The Jumeirah Village development already consists of more than 2,000 villas and townhouses which have been designed in classic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean styles.
