Bellrock awarded UKDN Waterflow contract
Company to manage warehouse, office and storage properties for UK's largest independent water, waste-water and drainage infrastructure enterprise.
Leading property and facilities management provider Bellrock is delighted to announce a new contract with UKDN Waterflow to manage their warehouse, office and storage properties across the UK. UKDN Waterflow is the largest independent, full capability, water and waste-water, drainage and infrastructure enterprise in the UK, created as a result of the merger between The UK Drainage Network and Waterflow Holdings in 2011, and the subsequent acquisition of Drain Control.
Bellrock has created a comprehensive property database. The system will be used to record key lease data, as well as being a central repository for compliance documentation, giving UKDN Waterflow instant access to key property related information at any time. Bellrock's activities will include managing rent payments, lease renewals, rent reviews and break options, as well as managing acquisitions and disposals to help shape the portfolio and rationalise the estate. Bellrock has already negotiated a substantial rent free period on the acquisition of a new office building near Slough. The fit-out of the new Southern Business Centre, fast tracked due to these savings, is being managed by the Bellrock Project Management Team. The relationship with Bellrock creates a truly joined-up approach to property management for UKDN Waterflow.
"Our knowledge and experience in property management, coupled with our expertise in technical services enables us to really appreciate clients' requirements, offering a truly tailored service for UKDN Waterflow. Acting as the de facto property department presents us with a fantastic opportunity to drive efficiencies whether they be reducing outgoings, re-gearing leases to improve the security of tenure or establishing greater flexibility for a tenancy," said Martin Holt, CEO, Bellrock.
