Hat-trick of Foodservice Awards for Compass

Levy Restaurants UK, the sports, leisure and hospitality division of the company, won the title of Retail and Leisure Caterer of the Year, while Matt Wood, Restaurant Associates won the Regional Manager of the Year and Chris Chidley, Eurest took home the Salesperson of the Year accolade.

Attended by over 500 industry guests, the Foodservice Cateys is an annual celebration of individuals and businesses that produce exceptional work throughout the year. Spanning all aspects of the foodservice industry, the awards ceremony recognises those who have performed outstandingly within their sector.

The judging panel recognised the robust concept development and detailed planning when naming Levy Restaurants UK as Retail and Leisure Caterer of the Year. Through innovation and creativity, Levy Restaurants UK placed the customer at the heart of the experience and worked with each client to understand what underpins their brand, enabling them to create exceptional hospitality for all their guests.

Matt Wood, from Restaurant Associates, the fine dining division of Compass Group UK & Ireland was rewarded for his outstanding work managing 23 sites across the UK on behalf of KPMG. The third win of the night was given to Chris Chidley, Business Development Director at Eurest, the workplace foodservice experts, who was rewarded for his precise assessment of client needs to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions to them.
