Acoustic Awards Programme

'Building Acoustics,' sponsored by H&H Acoustic Technologies, 'Education Acoustics,' sponsored by Ecophon, 'Environmental Noise,' sponsored by ANV Measurement Systems and 'Vibration,' sponsored by Pliteq are the four headline categories.

They are joined by three new categories, 'Good Acoustic Design,' 'Smaller Projects' and 'Innovation.'

Entries will be scrutinised by a distinguished panel of judges comprising of academics and professionals, as well as representatives from the sponsor companies - with the winners announced at a ceremony at the Hyatt in Birmingham on June 27.

Robert Osborne of ANC, the voice of professional consultancy in acoustics, noise and vibration in the UK, said: "The awards are a key date in our calendar, providing a platform to demonstrate how those in membership lead the way to improve acoustics for the whole of society, and promote high standards and good practice.

"They also give an opportunity to promote to a wider audience the career opportunities available in the industry, utilising science, technology, engineering and mathematics."
