CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2019 Open for Entries

Award Categories
Collaborative Working Partnership
This Award recognises examples of collaborative working that have delivered outstanding outcomes.
Open for entry to organisations worldwide, entries must relate to projects competed during the period 1 June 2015 - 31 August 2017.
Consultancy of the Year
Recognising consultancies that are meeting and exceeding clients expectations of building performance and are actively spreading knowledge and best practice of building performance.
Open for entry to consultancies worldwide, three categories for entry include: up to 100 employees, 101-1000 employees, and over 1000 employees. Entries must relate to consultancy services delivered during the period 1 June 2017 - 31 August 2018.
Energy Management Initiative
Recognising building owners or occupiers that are achieving outstanding building performance in their building or building portfolio.
Open for entry to building owners and occupiers worldwide, entries must relate to projects competed during the period 1 June 2015 - 31 August 2017.
Facilities Management Team
Recognising achievements of in-house and out-sourced facilities management (FM) teams who are delivering outstanding building performance from a building or portfolio of buildings.
Open for entry to FM teams worldwide, entries must relate to projects competed during the period 1 June 2015 - 31 August 2017.
Learning and Development Award
Recognising organisations and academics that have delivered learning and development initiatives designed to improve the understanding of building performance.
Open for entry to organisations and academics worldwide, entries must relate to initiatives delivered during the period 1 June 2017 - 31 August 2018.
Products & Innovations
- Energy Efficient
- Energy Saving
The Product and Innovation Awards are split into two categories - energy efficient and energy saving. They recognise building services solutions that help to reduce the amount of energy used in buildings by either reducing energy demand or through efficient use of energy by the product or innovation.
Open for entry to product manufacturers and system designers worldwide. Entries must relate to products or innovations introduced or launched between 1 June 2017 - 31 August 2018.
Project of the Year
Commercial/ Industrial
Leisure
Public Use
Residential
Project of the Year is divided into four sector-specific categories - Commercial/Industrial, Leisure, Public Use and Residential. The award recognises new build and refurbishment projects delivering outstanding measured building performance and high levels of user satisfaction and comfort.
Open for entry to organisations worldwide, entries must relate to projects competed in the United Kingdom during the period 1 June 2015 - 31 August 2017 (see International Project of the Year for projects based outside the UK).
International Project of the Year
Recognising new build and refurbishment projects, completed outside the United Kingdom, that have delivered outstanding measured building performance and high levels of user satisfaction and comfort.
Open for entry to organisations worldwide, entries must relate to projects competed outside the United Kingdom during the period 1 June 2015 - 31 August 2017.
Test of Time Award
Recognising projects and initiatives that have stood the test of time and demonstrate a long term commitment to improving building performance. Past winners of the CIBSE Building Performance Awards are invited to re-enter their projects and initiatives for judges to assess whether they have continued to deliver similar or improved levels of performance in use.
Entries must be from organisations that won a CIBSE award from 2010 to 2015.
