Harris County Commissioners have voted unanimously to approve the use of eminent domain for the acquisition of approximately 8.9 acres of city-owned land in Houston's Hermann Park for the construction of a major extension to Ben Taub Hospital by public healthcare provider Harris Health.
Harris Health will host a public Town Hall Meeting in Harris County Precinct 4 on the use of eminent domain to take a portion of Hermann Park for the expansion of Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital.
