Lusail Real Estate Development Company (LREDC), master developer of the Doha Convention Centre and Tower (DCCT), has invited bids from qualified contractors for the completion of the project.
Work on the 550 metre high tapering obelisk containing 112 storeys had been suspended following concerns about its potential impact on flight paths into Doha International Airport.
Designed by the Chicago-based Murphy/Jahn architectural practice, the mixed-use development will contain offices in its lower levels, with apartment floors, a hotel, penthouse residences and a private club occupying the higher levels.
