Paul Gatcliffe Appointed ERG Managing Director
Waste industry veteran's appointment to take effect from 1 February 2015.
Effective from 1st February 2015, Paul Gatcliffe will be appointed as ERG's Group Managing Director.
Paul joined the waste industry in the early 1990's as a trained quality control chemist, and commenced his early career with Environmental Resource Group in 2003, appointed as the Business Development Director. As a result of demonstrating his passion and knowledge of the industry he was subsequently promoted to Managing Director of Chemtech Waste, the waste management division of the Group, prior to this most recent appointment.
This was a considered decision by ERG's CEO Aron James, who stated 'Paul has been pivotal in the development and substantial growth of our business. His management style is hugely inclusive and he has a real passion for creating lasting and valuable relationships both with our staff and our clients. He's exceptionally knowledgeable about the waste industry and keen to ensure that ERG makes a positive impact on our environment by diverting as much waste as possible into the circular economy.'
In conjunction, Andy Williams will take up a new strategic role of 'Resource and Disposal' Director to further the Group's innovative and pioneering solutions offered to their broad array of clients.
These changes form part of the overall consolidation strategy to amalgamate the individual divisions including Chemtech Waste, Envirosol and Blendcheck in to a Group structure.
