Synchronise Your Identity

New cloud-based ID card database solution announced by IDentilam.

Managing a staff identity card database across multiple locations is a challenge - and becomes even more difficult when organisations run operations in different countries and engage large numbers of homeworkers and independent contractors.

Traditional approaches that require completion of application forms in advance and submission of photographs have even prompted many companies to delay issuing cards until the arrival of employees at their final destination.

Cloud based ID card system ComPicWeb is an online solution from IDentilam, available as part of a card bureau service or hosted in-house. IDentilam will be showcasing this ID card system at The Facilities Show 2015, one of the biggest industry events to look for inspiration. ComPicWeb enables employees to register for their ID cards online through a hosted URL, which can be done from anywhere in the world with internet access.

Once an employee has registered for their ID card online and provided the relevant information, their application is then sent to the selected line manager to either approve or deny. This can be separated into different divisions so that this can be managed by regional managers, and printed on site. If IDentilam host your system, they will check application approvals and send out on an agreed basis, from a secure data centre.

The registered employee's details are then stored on the secure designated database for chosen individuals within the company to have access rights to. Access rights can be altered as much as is required to keep the database secure and confidential. Reports can also be created online to keep a record of things such as the date an ID card was printed, the number of cards issued and when the cards are due for renewal, so that future badge printing is quick and easy.

If you think sifting through spreadsheets and faffing with photographs should be a thing of the past, pop down to see us at the Facilities Show in June, or contact a member of the IDentilam team for more information on +44 (0)1293 854700.
