ERG Supports World’s Largest Coffee Morning

In the United Kingdom, one in three people suffers from cancer which means that at some stage in our lives we will all be affected in some way by this cruel disease.
At ERG we are no strangers to the concept of 'giving back' which explains why on September 25th we'll be supporting Macmillan Cancer's annual World's Largest Coffee Morning event by raising money and donating to the charity's worthy cause.

In 2014 Macmillan raised in excess of £25,000,000 to fund the provision of vital practical advice, information and support for sufferers.

ERG's Aron James says: "Staff are constantly thinking of new and innovative ways of raising charitable donations and have given thousands of pounds to a variety of charities including the British Heart Foundation and Children in Need.'

Indeed, Andrea Potts, a member of our Logistics team, put a smile on the faces of 3,963 children who received Easter eggs and presents from the Midlands' children's homes, refuges and hospitals charity, 4 Steps To A Smile last year.

Macmillan's Coffee Morning take place on 25th September throughout the country in people's homes, work places and cafés.
