More Than $2.3 Million of "In-kind" Global Disaster Relief Donations in 2015

During 2015, Ecolab provided in-kind donations worth more than $2.3 million to support disaster relief efforts.

Working in partnership with non-profit organizations, the company quickly gathered needed cleaning, sanitizing and public health products for distribution to areas impacted by natural disasters.
"Cleaning and sanitizing products are desperately needed after a natural disaster to help communities recover," said Kris Taylor, Ecolab vice president of Community Relations. "Ecolab associates understand that urgency, and work hard to get our products to people quickly during times of need."
In 2015, Ecolab continued efforts to provide cleaning and sanitizing products in response to the Ebola outbreak in Africa, providing 156 tons of Ecolab products. The company also provided much-needed health care supplies to hospitals, orphanages and elderly care facilities in Malawi, Romania and El Salvador. Ecolab also provided 293 tons of products to assist with natural disaster clean-up efforts across the U.S.
Kristy Scott, CEO of World Emergency Relief, commented, "World Emergency Relief has partnered with Ecolab for more than 17 years. By working together, our two organizations have helped many communities during their most difficult challenges. Ecolab's spirit of generosity is a bright light during some dark times. It is an honor to work with such a trusted and community-minded company."
