A Viable Alternative to A-Levels
With hundreds of thousands of teenagers in the UK receiving their GCSE results today, young people will be considering which path to take towards a rewarding career. Whilst A-Levels followed by University may be the preferred choice for most, apprenticeships offer distinctive advantages and value that is often overlooked.
In many cases completing an apprenticeship can be as beneficial, if not more so, than a degree and it is a route that facilities management services provider ABM UK wants to champion.
With University students typically paying £9,000 per year in tuition fees, and starting their first role shouldering massive debts; apprenticeships are a viable and cost-effective alternative.
