New Promotions at Grotech
Stephen Moore has been appointed Operations Director to support the Goole based business's drive to implement leaner manufacturing and deliver more highly profitable research and development projects.
With vast experience of operations in diverse sectors Stephen has helped Grotech Production Ltd, which specialises in the agricultural and horticulture sectors diversify into automotive and household goods. He also identified the opportunity for the company to become the first contract manufacturer to achieve Soil Association accreditation through his experience of recognising the value of and implementing ISO quality standards.
Debbie Plumb will head up sales and marketing focusing on the company's core strengths in research and development for businesses looking to bring a new product to market or trial small runs before launching full scale manufacturing themselves.
Having run her own business and worked in marketing both directly and as a manager Debbie will bring her experience and expertise of sales to help Grotech Productions Ltd grow business organically and find new customers who fit with the company's core offering.
The trio of promotions is completed by Tom Grayson who becomes Technical Manager where he will oversee research and development of new product ranges for customers.
"Grotech Production Ltd has seen significant growth in the last three years by focusing on our core strengths of manufacturing high quality products for customers efficiently and sustainably," said MD, Martin Usher. "Stephen, Debbie and Tom are ambitious to take Grotech Production Ltd to the next level by identifying new customers who need our experienced and expert research and development and appreciate the added value our factory can offer."
In addition to the promotions Grotech Production Ltd has also welcomed a new addition to the team in the way of Sales and Marketing Executive Janice Lawlor.
The law graduate has joined the company to further strengthen its sales and marketing team, exploring and introducing new initiatives in a bid to help the company grow and to help customers navigate new legislation ahead of Brexit and GDPR.
Janice says: "I'm really looking forward to the fresh challenges my new role has in store. I have a lot to learn but we're at a pivotal point in the company's development and I'm keen to play a part in its expansion."
