ISS Wins Turkish Hospital Contracts

ISS has become one of the largest providers of integrated facility services to the healthcare sector in Turkey after being selected to deliver DKK 250 Million (£29.6 Million) of contracts to Kayseri Hospital and Elazığ Hospital.
The Kayseri Hospital contract will ramp-up up from May to November 2018, with the Elazığ Hospital (which won innovative 'green and social' bond infrastructure financing in 2017), also expected to ramp-up between July and November 2018.
Both contracts extend over an initial period of five years and involve delivery of a fully integrated portfolio of services, including catering, technical services, waste management, cleaning, and security. Once fully operational, approximately 3,000 ISS employees will be employed at the two hospitals.
Commenting on the awards, ISS Turkey manager Cavit Habib, said:
"We are very excited about entering into these two new partnerships with Kayseri Hospital and Elazığ Hospital, and look forward to applying the skills and expertise we have built up within the healthcare industry here in Turkey. By self-delivering services with our own dedicated employees, we will be able to deliver the best service possible to all patients, visitors and staff at the hospitals."
The contracts add to an already well-established portfolio of healthcare contracts in Turkey, including a major integrated services contract with Adana Hospital, which commenced in the third quarter of 2017.
