ISS Netherlands to Transfer Non-core Cleaning Portfolio to CSU
ISS Netherlands has agreed terms for the transfer of approximately 70 clients and 2,200 staff to Dutch cleaning services provider CSS, as part of its divestment of a non-core, single-service cleaning portfolio.
Commenting on the announcement, Kees Stroomer, Country Manager, ISS Netherlands, said:
"The divestment of this single-service cleaning customer portfolio is in line with our strategy of focusing on large national and international key account customers and on creating value through integrated facility management solutions to these customers."
In CSU, ISS has found a high-quality and reliable partner with national coverage throughout the Netherlands. As one of the largest cleaning companies in the Netherlands, CSU is well-known and a respected market operator with experience in integrating activities from acquisitions, ensuring continuity for customers as well as employees. As an example, CSU successfully integrated a number of SME cleaning customers from ISS at the end of last year.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval from the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), and is expected to close in November 2018.
