AkzoNobel Acquires Romania's Largest Architectural Paint Manufacturer
AkzoNobel has completed the acquisition of Fabryo Corporation, Romania's biggest architectural and decorative paint manufacturer, with sales revenues of €45 million in 2017.
The acquisition adds market-leading Romanian decorative paint brands, Savana, APLA and InnenWeiss, to the Dutch multinational's established stable of leading paint, powder coating and speciality chemicals brands (which include Dulux, Sikkens, International and Interpon).
Fabryo Corporation operates two production facilities, including one of the largest decorative paint factories in the region with further capacity for expansion, and six distribution centres for decorative paints, adhesives and mortars.
