The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) has announced the finalists for the Kimberly-Clark Professional™ Golden Service Awards 2022.
Dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the cleaning industry by their organisers, the awards recognise "excellence, performance and commitment" within cleaning and facilities management.
An independent panel of judges from BICSc has shortlisted 59 finalists from 24 companies, with key criteria for selection including their proactive approach to furthering environmental awareness, a focus on issues relating to Covid-19 and respect for employee wellbeing (as demonstrated by a commitment to the Living Wage).
Overall, 2022 Golden Service Awards entrants showed greater commitment to the care and development of cleaning teams, and a strong emphasis on future efficiencies.

Finalists in most award categories will now receive a site visit from BICSc judges in January or February, with the panel focusing on assessing innovation, staff training and the quality of client relationships.

Competition winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 26 May 2022 at the InterContinental London Park Lane (12.15pm to 4pm), with over 500 guests including finalists, sponsors and some of the leading names in the UK’s cleaning and FM sectors expected to attend.
