Elevating Digital Content at the Houston Astros Store
Datapath and LED display provider Watchfire are enhancing the immersive experience for visitors to Major League Baseball team, the Houston Astros; Minute Maid Park stadium.
The Astros chose a cutting-edge VSN video wall controller to create a remarkable digital 'halo ring' within their store.
Occupying approximately 8,000 square feet, the store has undergone a substantial transformation as part of a significant upgrade to the retail space.
Designed to be a central hub for fans attending games and events, the store is now equipped with a spectacular double-sided LED halo ring, featuring a colossal outer surface of 9984 pixels wide x 624 pixels high and an inner surface of 9152 x 624.
This immersive installation offers a 360-degree visual treat to visitors across the shop floor.
An advanced VSNMicro 600 wall controller, renowned for its reliability and versatility, along with Datapath’s advanced WallControl 10 management software, were selected to provide an immersive content delivery system at the sotre.
The VSNMicro 600 interfaces with a Brightsign media player, processing and disseminating content to both the inner and outer walls of the halo ring.
Working with Wallboard's cloud-based digital signage CMS, the VSNMicro 600 executes the Astros' vision flawlessly.
This allows for the seamless scheduling or ad-hoc delivery of a variety of content types, all tailored to the Astros’ strategic objectives.
