Mitsubishi Electric Joins 24/7 Carbon Free Energy Compact

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has joined the United Nations 24/7 Carbon Free Energy Compact (24/7 CFE) for supporting decarbonisation of electricity worldwide.

The initiative is being supported by 130 other major organisations globally, including the United States government and several key players involved with power generation and distribution.

The phrase, “24/7 CFE” embraces a commitment to ensure every kilowatt-hour of electricity consumption is matched by carbon-free electricity sources everywhere, every hour of every day.

Technologies offered by the company to optimise electricity use, including Multi-Region EMS, a cloud service for prosumers that manages decarbonisation targets across sites.

In Japan, Mitsubishi Electric offers BLEnDer® CN for Supplier, a bundle packaged software solution for suppliers to the retail energy market which supports carbon-free electricity plans for consumers.
