Andrew Hulbert, Pareto founder and Vice Chair, has been recognised as an 'Inspirational Role Model' in the Guardian Newspaper's biennial Global Diversity List (GDL).
Described as the 'gold standard for diversity, globally', the GDL is supported by major organisations including Barclays, KPMG, BNP Paribas, Worldpay, Boots and GSK.
It was launched in 2016 in response to the ad hoc development of the diversity profession as a branch of Human Resources without the requirement for formal qualifications.
Reflecting the ethos, "success in leading and enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts can be demonstrated in many ways", the list includes a plethora of different people, backgrounds and initiatives - with each entitled to display a 'Global Diversity' kite mark on websites, emails and in social media.
Hulbert describes the recognition as one of the proudest moments of his career, adding: "To be recognised amongst some of the most inspirational people in the world has just blown me away.
"Diversity and inclusion for me have always been about doing the right thing, and to be recognised for this is just inspirational.
I could not be more proud of the incredible business we built in Pareto and how it is changing the sector in facilities management. We have an incredible senior leadership team that continues to drive change with purpose and value.
