OCS has set itself the challenge of raising £15,000 in funding for the London Youth Rowing Club and the OCS Foundation as part of its commitment to influence positive change for community groups.
300 OCS employees, including Group CEO Rob Legge, have embarked on a virtual race along the 346km River Thames.
The event which concludes on 28th March involves participants completing the 346km distance by swimming, running, walking, or even skipping.
Each team of eight has been given a minimum fundraising target of £400, which can be tracked via the race leaderboard during the course of the week.

The OCS Foundation, established in 2016, drives changes and delivers projects that have a direct and positive change on the society and communities it services. Its industry-inclusive People-into-Work programme, for example, has already assisted over 150 people who have faced various barriers to work, from homelessness to substance abuse, with the necessary support and training to transition into sustainable employment.

A combined charity partnership between The OCS Foundation and London Youth Rowing means that we can continue to make a lasting impact on the individuals and community groups that require our support.

This event is a part of OCS's ongoing efforts to raise funds for the OCS Foundation and other charities.
Following Race the Thames, another event is on the horizon to commemorate the opening of its new headquarters in Ipswich.
This event, named "New Century Walk," after the new office, will involve OCS colleagues walking the distance from their former headquarters in Bury St Edmunds to the new one in Ipswich.
Furthermore, as part of its relocation, OCS will be getting more involved with local community projects in Suffolk, volunteering both time and expertise.
