Holcim has acquired German-based roofing membrane manufacturer, Flachdach Technologie GmbH (FDT).
With a 150-history, FDT has forged a leading reputation for developing Rhenofol PVC and Rhepanol polyisobutylene (PIB) roofing membranes for flat roofs.
The acquisition will see FDT join Elevate under Holcim’s business envelope division, expanding its product range for the roofing industry, including UK installers, specifiers and distributors.
The deal follows Holcim’s acquisition of Firestone Building Products in 2021, which now operates under the Elevate brand.
