Wingstop UK Continues London Expansion
Wingstop UK, the ultimate experience for iconic wing flavours to enjoy with family and friends, will open in Croydon on Monday 27th May.
To celebrate the momentous occasion for the South London town, the first 100 customers will receive free chicken wings.
The new site will bring 60 jobs to the local area and host 75 covers, whilst providing delicious wings, tenders, burgers, and sides, and its recently launched Voodoo fries, to Croydon’s hungry diners.
Monday’s opening adds to Wingstop UK’s rapid expansion throughout the capital, marking its second dine-in site south of the river, following last month’s successful opening on Clapham High Street.
Wingstop UK’s other London restaurants include its flagship site on Shaftesbury Avenue, Islington, Dalston, Gloucester Road, Kingston, Bromley, Beckton, Hounslow and Watford.
Since launching in the UK in 2018, the brand has grown at pace, with 2024 set to be its biggest year of expansion.
A milestone this summer will be the opening of its largest restaurant to date at Westfield Stratford City, at a 5,000sq ft site hosting over 160 covers.
The opening comes hot on the heels of Wingstop UK’s recognition in The Sunday Times’ prestigious Best Places to Work Awards announced earlier this month.
Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, master franchisee, Wingstop UK, says: “What better way to spend your bank holiday Monday than enjoying some bold flavours and our mouthwatering menu?
The popularity of our Clapham site since we opened there last month has been exceptional – it is clear that South Londoners love our wings, so we’re looking forward to bringing delicious flavours to Croydon’s diners.”
