Pareto FM founder and Vice Chair Andrew Hulbert has succeeded Mark Whittaker as Chair of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) following the Institute's AGM on 24th July.
Hulbert, who previously served as Deputy Chair, has been involved with the Institute for more than 14 years, and was at one time its youngest Fellow, and recognised with an IWFM award for his "Outstanding Contribution to Workplace and Facilities Management".
He steps into this national leadership role at an important moment for both the Institute and the
wider facilities management sector.
As FM continues to evolve, with commercial resilience, ESG, tech and ai innovation increasingly shaping the agenda, his appointment recognises a consistent drive to challenge the norm and push the profession forward in a meaningful way.
Hulbert says: “I’m incredibly honoured to be taking on the role of Chair at IWFM.
"Building on the strong foundations laid by Mark Whittaker, my focus will be on ensuring the Institute’s long-term sustainability, supporting the executive team, and making sure our Board reflects the diversity and breadth of our membership.”

Hulbert is additionally a co-founder of ‘Tomorrow Meets Today’ – a social enterprise that runs events designed to promote diversity within the FM sector.
