Chelsea F.C. Awards Multi-site Cleaning Contract
Chelsea Football Club has appointed ABM as official cleaning services supplier to Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea Women's Kingsmeadow Stadium in Norbiton, and its training centre in Cobham.
The contract will mobilise more than 200 ABM cleaning operatives and managers to support the club's commitment to delivering a world-class matchday environment for fans while ensuring venues are pristine, assets protected and operate efficiently.
Dan McEwan, Chelsea F.C.
Director of Partnerships, says: “As we kick off the new season, ensuring all areas of the club are at their very best for supporters, players and staff is a top priority.
Clean, well-maintained facilities are essential to a great matchday and beyond, and ABM’s proven ability to deliver high standards across a large range of environments makes them the ideal partner for us.”
The multi-year relationship marks a strategic expansion into the UK and Ireland sports and entertainment market for ABM, and builds on half a century of experience at large-scale venues internationally.
These historic venues aren’t just where football is played - they're where generations of Blues supporters have celebrated glory, shared memories, and felt the enduring spirit of the club.
The facility services provider supports more than 4,000 sports and entertainment events annually with a range of cleaning and non-cleaning services that create unforgettable visitor experiences.
"Matchday at Chelsea FC is a truly unique experience, and we’re proud to join this team to ensure the grounds are spotless and ready for every kick-off, meeting and event.
This partnership is a crucial part of the expansion of our sports and entertainment presence across the UK and Ireland, delivering sustainable, guest-centric services to one of the most storied clubs in football.”
