Mitie Named as Supplier on CCS Transport Technology Framework
Mitie has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Transport Technology Framework (RM6347) which covers integrated transport solutions from strategy and consultancy to installation, deployment and data management.
The integrated services provider is now prequalified to tender across five separate lots, namely:
The agreement will run for eight years, enabling Mitie to support public sector organisations with a wide range of transport and environmental consultancy and implementation services to help the public sector develop and deliver low emission transport strategies.
CCS supports the public sector achieving maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services and in 2024/25 they helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £5.3 billion.
The framework, aimed at modernising transportation and creating opportunities for businesses to grow and innovate, gives the UK public sector access to transport solutions, including sustainable transport technology, mobility solutions and infrastructure support.
Mitie’s consultancy has helped over 35 customers build their fleet estate decarbonisation strategies in the past three years alone, providing them with the tools and insight needed to decarbonise their operations.
With our extensive experience in fleet electrification and data-led consultancy, we’re uniquely positioned to help public sector organisations accelerate their journey to net zero.
With a fleet of over 6,300 EV’s, accounting for 73 per cent of its total fleet, Mitie’s real-world experience and expertise in fleet electrification will be deployed to help public sector clients, such as local councils and central governments, to deliver transport technology planning and installation services.
Using telematics, Mitie’s data-led approach means the most suitable charging solutions can be deployed and any potential risks and mitigations related to EV charging infrastructure can be identified and addressed.
Managing director of projects, Mark Caskey, says: “Being named a supplier on RM6347 Transport Technology Framework is an important milestone for Mitie and a powerful endorsement of our commitment to sustainable innovation.
"With our extensive experience in fleet electrification and data-led consultancy, we’re uniquely positioned to help public sector organisations accelerate their journey to net zero.
"We’re excited to collaborate with partners across the UK to deliver bold, future-ready transport solutions that will make a real difference to communities nationwide.”
