Councillor Rob Lillis, Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing and Housing at Castle Point Borough Council, commented: "This new contract marks an important step in strengthening the service for our residents. WPS brings the experience and capacity needed to deliver day to day repairs effectively; while also supporting the largest investment programme we have ever undertaken to improve our homes. Castle Point tenants deserve safe, well-maintained housing and this contract helps us deliver exactly that."
The mobilisation programme between WPS and the Council is already underway, ensuring a smooth transition and uninterrupted service when the contract commences on 1 April 2026.
