The Momentum Group Appoints New FM Director
Integrated property services company The Momentum Group which operates in the North West of England has appointed Matthew Pilling as Facilities Management Director.
Pilling joins the company from GeoBear Global where he was managing director for Residential.
He has previously held roles at BNP Paribas, Incentive FM, Cloudfm and at Engie where he led on the US Airforce FM contract for all nine of their UK bases and at Capita where he headed up its portfolio of more than 250 London properties.
In his new role, he will support Momentum's strategic five-year growth plan which includes implementing sustainable facilities management practices and applying technology and best practices to maximise operating efficiency.

As well as a significant track record, Matthew brings a fresh perspective, having expertise in both driving business growth and working with large commercial clients.

Momentum's facilities management portfolio includes Runcorn Shopping City which is the town’s main retail destination, and landmark buildings in Liverpool including The Keel, The Princes Building and Glenbrook’s One Temple Square, and for Yakel Property Investment, the Grade I listed Oriel Chambers, the Grade A office building Aviation House and Bramley House in Guildford, Surrey.
The group reports a period of expansion which has seen its team and office space more than double in the last year.
In addition to its Advise, Build, Manage and Maintain businesses, Momentum has recently launched 'Momentum Contribute' under the leadership of former Facilities Management Director and Associate Director, Karl Clawley who Pilling succeeds, to oversee CSR initiatives and the activities of a dedicated Foundation.
