Cushman & Wakefield Adds Life Sciences Expertise to Capital Markets Team

Louay Alsadek and Maddie Mawby have joined Cushman & Wakefield's capital markets team in San Diego, bringing decades of experience in the life sciences sector to their new roles.

The duo join the company from Colliers where they worked for nearly two years, having previously been with CBRE.

Alsadek, who joins as Vice Chair, was a top performer in both his previous roles, serving some of the industry’s most prominent investors.

San Diego remains one of the world’s most critical life sciences markets and its dynamic office sector also remains important to the region’s overall economic health.

A real estate industry veteran with 36-years' experience, he has completed US $7 billion of property dispositions during a 23-year brokerage career which began at Prentiss Properties which was later acquired by Cushman & Wakefield.

Mawby, who joins Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Director, will report to Alsadek.

Her life sciences expertise includes advisory and disposition across San Diego County.

The new team will focus predominantly on life sciences and office property sales under the guidance of Matt Chatham, Cushman & Wakefield’s Region President for the West.
